Timothy W. Chang, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He specializes in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction, cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic laser treatments, and general dermatology.

Dr. Chang received his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed an intensive internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then received a strong general and surgical dermatology training while completing his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Chang pursued subspecialty training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology by completing the fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. As an integral part of the fellowship, he received extensive training in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery.

Dr. Chang is a native of Southern California. He has performed humanitarian medical work in Tanzania, Africa. He has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa and tallest free standing mountain in the world, as well as Mount Whitney, the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States. He is a black belt in TaeKwonDo and an Eagle Scout. He and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors with their three children.
