Dr. Tahir Ijaz was named as one of the 2015 “Top Doctors” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.

Dr. Ijaz received his medical degree at the University of Manitoba. He then served his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation. He continued his medical training and completed his fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Ijaz has a special interest in the treatment of head & neck, prostate, and lung cancers. He is also trained in the use of CyberKnife® stereotactic body therapy, radioactive seed implants for prostate, and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).

Dr. Ijaz is certified the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
