Sunita Shailam, MD has spend many years being involved with the community by using her medical expertise. She has provided medical assistance for the Job Corp, the Navajo Indian Health Services, and various homeless shelters.
Dr. Shailam attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for her residency and her accelerated fellowship program. At the UCSD school of medicine, she participated in the Doctor as Teacher Program and Faculty Development Program.
