Sanjum Samagh, MD

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Sanjum Samagh attended Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego where he graduated as valedictorian. He began his medical training at Stanford University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences.

He completed medical school at University of California Irvine, Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the world-famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA where he was elected Chief Resident, and an Orthopaedic Sports Surgery/Sports Medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Samagh served as the assistant team physician to the National Hockey League (NHL) Chicago Blackhawks, the Major League Baseball (MLB) Chicago Cubs, and the Northwestern University Big 10 football team. He also served as a medical advisor to the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the NBA Draft Combine.

He has a special interest in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder.
