Dr. Roy Avalos was named a “2018 — Top Doctor” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.
Dr. Roy T. Avalos finished medical school at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine where he also completed both his residency and internship. He has extensive specialty training in nuclear medicine, echocardiography, and cardiac diagnostic catheterization from UCLA. Dr. Avalos practices non-invasive cardiology, and emphasizes preventative measures in treating heart disease. He uses the latest technology and techniques of cardiovascular medicine to provide earlier diagnosis and preventative treatment.
