Dr. Philip Butler received his medical degree from New York medical College. He served his Surgical internship, General Surgery and Urology residency at the University of California, San Diego. He is the chairperson of the Urology department at Scripps Hospital, Encinitas.
Dr. Butler has special training in prostate cancer therapy, laser lithotripsy, surgery for kidney stones, laparoscopy and other minimally invasive surgeries. He is certified under the American Board of Urology and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is currently accepting new patients.
