John G. Lane, MD

Dr. John Lane received his medical degree at Yale University. He then served his General Surgery internship and Orthopaedic residency at the University of Michigan. He continued his medical training and completed his fellowship in Knee and Sports Medicine at the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Lane’s area of expertise isĀ in sports medicine and orthopaedics with a special interest in arthroscopic repair of the shoulder, knee, and spine. He is a Clinical instructor at the University of California, San Diego, as well as an Adjunt Assistant Professor at San Diego State University. He continues to be a researcher in the use of the Holmium: Yag Laser and he has received grants for these studies.

Dr. Lane has over 27 years of medical experiences, and he has dual certifications by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Sports Medicine. He is currently welcoming new patients.
