John E. Bokosky, MD

Dr. John E. Bokosky was named as one of the 2015 “Top Doctors” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.

Dr. Bokosky received his medical degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in 1979. He later completed an Internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, then finished an Opthalmology Residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in 1983. He also served his Fellowship in Cornea & Refractive Surgery at University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers in 1984.

Dr. Bokosky specializes in Opthalmology and helps patients with a variety of eye disorders utilizing his expertise in Corneal Refractive Surgery and certification to perform VISX Vision Correction.

Dr. John E. Bokosky is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, in Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
