Dr. Franz Kopp was named a “2018 — Top Doctor” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.

Dr. Kopp received his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine. He then served his General Surgery internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Kopp continued his medical training and completed his Foot & Ankle Surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Kopps strives to meet his patient’s needs by providing comprehensive evaluation and care utilizing the appropriate treatment options for the optimal orthopaedic care.

Dr. Kopp’s areas of interest include orthopedic foot and ankle surgery, general orthopaedics, sports medicine, and total joint replacement. He has published numerous scientific articles and lectured at national and international meetings. Dr. Kopp is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
