Dr. Dan Giurgiu received his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He then served his internship and residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital. He continued his medical training and completed his Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Giurgiu is certified by the American Board of General Surgery.
Dr. Giurgiu’s clinical interests include conditions requiring advanced laparoscopic procedures. Some of his specialties include surgical management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), laparoscopic removal of solid organs, and sentinel lymph node biopsy for diseases of the breast.
Dr. Giurgiu has over 20 years of medical experience, and he is currently welcoming new patients.
