Dr. Carol Salem was named a “2018 — Top Doctor” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.
Dr. Salem received her medical degree at the University of Southern California, School of Medicine. This is also where she served her General Surgery internship and Urology residency. Dr. Salem then completed her Urologic Oncology fellowship.
Dr. Salem is urologic cancer surgeon specializes in urologic malignancies, surgical oncology, and robotic surgery. She is the Medical Director of the Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery Program at Scripps mErcy Hospital.
Dr. Salem is certified by the American Board of Urology with a subspecialty in Urologic Oncology.
