Dr. Bogard is originally from Huntington Beach, CA. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, where he also played football for the Toreros. He then went on to earn his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. After medical school, Dr. Bogard completed an orthopaedic residency in Ventura, CA. During his time there, he trained at several hospitals including Community Memorial Hospital System in Ventura, Ventura County Hospital, Cedar Sinai Hospital, Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. After residency, Dr. Bogard completed a year fellowship in Sports Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, where he had the privilege of learning from some of the great academic leaders in Sports Medicine and covered professional sports teams including the NHL Blues, MLS City Soccer team, Washington University Football, and XFL Battlehawks.
