David M. Kupfer, MD

Dr. David Kupfer received his medical degree at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. He then served his internship and General Surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Kupfer continued his medical training by completing his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Dr. Kupfer specializes in plastic surgery and he is highly trained to perform a wide array of surgeries that can restore or correct the form and function of the human body. He has a special interest in corrective surgery for abnormalities of the body and malformations caused by birth defects, trauma, tumors, or disease. Dr. Kupfer also has extensive training in Hand Surgery.

Dr. Kupfer has over 20 years of medical experience and is triple board certified in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand & Microsurgery. He has served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Sharp Memorial Hospital and as Medical Director at multiple outpatient ambulatory surgical center.  Dr. Kupfer is currently welcoming new patients.
