Dr. Daniel Einhorn, medical director of the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute, was named the ‘2017 Outstanding Clinical Practitioner’ by the Endocrine Society, the largest international organization representing professionals in the field of endocrinology.

Dr. Einhorn was named a “2018 — Top Doctor” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.

Dr. Einhorn received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1977. He then completed an Internship and an Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1983.

Dr. Einhorn specializes in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. His practice is devoted to the care of adults with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, lipid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, adrenal disease, parathyroid disease and diagnostic dilemmas that may have a hormonal origin.

Dr. Daniel Einhorn is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology.
