Dr. Chris Gualtieri received his medical degree at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine. He served his internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital, San Diego. He continued his medical training and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Wake Forest University.

Dr. Gualtieri was selected to be the medical director and LASIK surgeon for Nationwide Vision, and he has performed more than 2000 LASIK eye surgeries. He strives to give his patients the best, most effective tools and techniques in eye care. He enjoys caring for his patients and being actively involved in the community. Dr. Gualtieri teaches medical students, residents, and other ophthalmologist on relevant and new innovations in his field. He volunteers monthly at the Lion’s Eye Clinic performing exams on uninsured patients.

Dr. Gualtieri has over 20 years of medical experience in his field. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Gualtieri is currently accepting new patients.
