Basil O. Ike, Jr., DO

Dr. Basil Ike completed his undergraduate education at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA, and earned his medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University. He completed his Family Medicine residency with an emphasis on lifestyle medicine at Loma Linda University.

At UCLA, Dr. Ike completed his Sports Medicine fellowship, where he served as team physician for UCLA athletics and provided medical coverage for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Sparks. Currently, Dr. Ike is a team physician with San Diego State University and local high schools. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of non-surgical orthopedic issues, caring for athletes and active individuals as well as providing high-quality care to patients of all ages with both medical and musculoskeletal issues.

Dr. Ike joined San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center in July 2024.
